Zuyd offers interesting opportunities for international exchange programmes, including the Erasmus+ programme, the Magellan Exchange and bilateral exchange agreements with international partners. Students can apply for a complete study year or just one semester. Fall semester: September – end of January (30 ECTS) Spring semester: February – end of June (30 ECTS)
At MAMDT it is important that you take full responsibility for your studies. In various projects, you will be working on your own or in groups with your fellow students. As an exchange student, you should be highly motivated and self-propelled. The language of tuition is Dutch, but you will be able to get instructions by the tutor or your fellow students in English. If lots of students in a class are foreign students, the tuition will switch to English.
If you are not enrolled with us, but at another institute, and you want to come and study here, this is possible if your institution has an agreement with Maastricht Academy of Media Design and Technology (please note: the academy is part of Zuyd University of Applied Sciences). If that is not the case, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. The Erasmus+ code for MAMDT Maastricht is ‘NL HEERLEN 14’. In order to be admitted, you need official documents (ask for these at your institute). In case your Exchange will not be under the scope of Erasmus+ please use the learning agreement.
Application Incoming exchange students can enroll through our online application system Osiris and are required to upload:
- Learning Agreement
- Application form Erasmus (AEC)
- Valid passport/ID
- Motivation letter and portfolio
